Boating

 

One of our favorite activities here in Sunny South Florida is boating.  I don't think I could ever be far from the water, even if it's a lake or a river. 

This is one of my own photos...   It's purely gratuitous...  No hats, but I love the shot.  

One of the best things about boating is the sun.  One of the worst things about boating is the sun.  A good hat will help you stay comfortable and protected.

What makes a good boating hat?  The best thing is a snug fit.  Many Caps work well and of course many people like to reverse the cap so it doesn't fly away so easily.  Otherwise look for a chin strap to help keep it on in the wind.

Your hat should be water resistant and easy to dry.  Even better if it floats!
